The Sarabec ARC Audio extractor kit will allow you to connect your existing listening equipment to your television's ARC HDMI socket, this will allow you to get an audio feed from the Television.
This is especially useful if the television doesn't have optical or traditional audio sockets.
Many systems now don't come with optical or audio sockets, using this adapter will allow you to extract audio from the TV.
It can also be used in place of a traditional Digital to Analogue Converter.

I have just had a Cochlear Implant and am considering purchasing a Cochlear TV streamer. I have a Sky Glass TV and thus will need this product to connect. The question I have is Will listening to this via the streamer remove the normal speaker audio output for others watching and listening to the TV at the same time.
