Exciting News: John’s New Role at Sarabec as Managing Director!

Sarabec, a leading manufacturer of hearing products, is delighted to announce the appointment of a new Managing Director.

This January, John Swindale will be progressing in the role of Managing Director to lead the team at Sarabec and shape the next chapter of the company.

Colin Foxton, knowledgeable business owner and current Managing Director of Sarabec, has led Sarabec to growth since he joined the company in 1987, and has overseen significant growth since then, expanding the client base, product range and introducing ground-breaking new technology to support hard of hearing and d/Deaf clients. Colin has led his team through the challenging circumstances that the COVID-19 pandemic brought with it and ensured his staff were well looked after.

Colin says:

“Over the years, John’s extensive experience and incredible contribution to the business have made him an asset to the company. His knowledge and commitment make him the perfect choice for his latest role. John’s loyal nature, analytical skills, and extensive range of experience align with the company’s strategic goals, making this the natural next step and progression for John.”

John first began working at Sarabec in April 2001 as a Material Controller. He continued to work in procurement for the last 23 years and became a specialist in this field, while also overseeing the operational side of the business. It is the skills that he picked up over these years that led to his last appointment as Operations Director, requiring a more logistical approach.

During the more recent years, John became more involved with the strategic side of the business, giving him a deeper understanding of the business and the industry working with Colin to further strengthen Sarabec’s position in the market.

John says:

“Sarabec, for me, has always felt like a family business. We’ve built relationships and always worked together as one great team. Our amazing leaders and employees have kept the wheels turning, and without them, the business wouldn’t have been as successful as it has been. I am proud to have been a part of that, and I am grateful that Colin was able to provide me with this amazing and exciting opportunity. I can’t wait to see what the future brings.”
